Module 3, Lesson 6: Food Choices and Climate Change

Students use concepts of the energy pyramid to explain pricing variations relative to vegetables and meats and the implications for food choices. Students will then calculate the distance food ingredients travel for a standard lunch to account for the fossil fuels used in agriculture to provide cities with food.
