Resources for LMU Faculty, Staff and Students
CURes is one of 17 research centers and institutes at Loyola Marymount University (LMU). We are housed in the Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering, but report to LMU Executive Vice President and Provost Thomas Poon. As such, we are able to tap into the resources of both entities to offer unique opportunities to members of the broader LMU community.
CURes serves LMU faculty, staff and students by developing undergraduate courses and supporting faculty research and scholarly activity. We collaborate with faculty through fellowships, joint grant making and hosting and supporting university outreach programming. In addition, we work with members of the LMU community to build technical tools that provide solutions for challenging urban problems. We also partner with the Green LMU Initiative and the Campus Sustainability Officer; the School of Education; Loyola Law School; Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts and others to enhance the ongoing efforts of those programs and to help initiate novel projects. We encourage you to explore our programs and partners to consider how we can help facilitate your professional and service aspirations at LMU.
