Imagining a Resilient Future: 2017-2018 Environmental Lecture Series

In partnership with the Department of Urban and Environmental Studies and Environmental Science programs, the Center for Urban Resilience is hosting, “Imagining a Resilient Future: Engaging the LMU Community,” which is a series of six lectures that highlight a range of environmental research and scholarship occurring across the campus.

In this fifth lecture, Dr. Demian Willette from the LMU Biology department will present a talk entitled, “Urban Land, Urban Sea: How Walnut Trees, Sushi DNA, and Slime Mold are Solving LA’s Environmental Challenges.” The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and a networking reception with refreshments.
